About the program
Campus Spark is NEIL's student innovation challenge for member institutions, designed to identify, evaluate and advance promising student-led innovations.
Students pitch their ideas to a panel of judges, who assess their potential, feasibility and market readiness to identify the most promising innovators at university and national levels. Winners are recognised and awarded based on their performance and the potential of their innovations.
Beyond the competition and awards, Campus Spark focuses on structured venture outcomes. Winning teams are supported to refine their ideas, develop their prototypes and progress towards market-ready solutions.
Through continued mentorship, guidance and follow-up support, NEIL works with member institutions so that promising innovations keep growing beyond the competition, with a pathway towards real-world impact.

Startup School is an 8-week, challenge-based program with two tracks: Founder, which turns ideas into venture-ready solutions through team hackathons and self-paced training, and Educator, which equips university leaders, trainers, and researchers to build entrepreneurial cultures.
